Amanda Primeau
Receptionist

Amanda was born and raised in Langley BC. Like most of us here, her love for animals began as a young child. She grew up with various dogs and cats but Amanda had a very strong desire to help animals in distress. She was always bringing home stray kittens much to her parents chagrin. Of all her “rescues” Amanda’s most memorable was a kitten she named “Liberty” whom she found emaciated and near death in a football field, and who soon found a home with her aunt and uncle who owned a dairy farm, lucky kitty! Today Amanda, along with her husband, is the proud owner of a gray tabby named Smudge and a pitbull/rottweiler mix named Titan Grace.
In 2002 she moved to Calgary, and in 2004 had a beautiful daughter named Dyllan. In 2008 she was given the opportunity to attend the Veterinary Office Assistant program at Robertson College, and graduated with Honors in April of 2009.
We first met Amanda in February of 2009 as a student looking for a practicum job with our clinic. We were so impressed by the quality of customer care she gave, and her strong desire to learn, that we decided to keep her on board. She is very enthusiastic about her job, and her love for animals comes from a very genuine place. We are very fortunate to have her as a member of our animal care team.
